On Wednesday, May 2nd, the PVC welcomed 1968 Olympic icon John Carlos to campus. In a lecture attended by upwards of 250 people, Carlos discussed his upbringing, the moment on the medal stand with Tommie Smith, and the ensuing backlash against the pair.
