11th Annual “Collegians Find the Cure” 5K held Sept. 29th

The Princeton Women’s Swimming & Diving program, in partnership with the Princeton Varsity Club, hosted its 11th annual Collegians Find the Cure 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 29th on the campus of Princeton University. As part of this year’s event, Princeton Women’s Swimming & Diving raised just over $5,500, bringing total fundraising to more than $35,000 since the event’s inception in 2008. All of these proceeds direct benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Numerous varsity athletic teams showed their support by participating in the 5K run/walk, including the men’s lacrosse, men’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s squash, women’s water polo and softball teams, to name a few. To view pictures from this year’s event, click here.

Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer in all women, and has impacted many of our closest loved ones, friends and fellow Princetonians. All proceeds from the event directly benefited the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and help to combat this powerful disease. Many participants also showed their support in the fight for Breast Cancer by running or walking the 5k course around Princeton University.
