More than 65 Princeton coaches and support staff gathered as part of the fourth annual Tiger Coaches’ Summit on July 16th, engaging in conversation and sharing their collective experiences, perspectives and program strategies as part of an immersive full-day retreat.
A priority initiative of the Princeton Department of Athletics, the summer gathering provides a dedicated space for coaches to share ideas and best practices while reflecting on the ever-growing roles of coaches in today’s College Athletics environment. The Summit continues to offer Tiger coaches a unique blend of program benchmarking, professional development and relationship building across the department.
Discussion topics ranged from defining and sustaining success to recruiting to program planning, to name a few. Additionally, Tiger coaches were joined by Princeton track & field alum Rebecca Haarlow ’01, an Emmy Award winning sports broadcaster and communications consultant, to work through honing one’s authentic Leadership Voice.
