Princeton Coaches & Student-Athletes Featured at PVC Winter Luncheon

Princeton Varsity Club members and members of the Princeton Athletics community recently gathered for the PVC Winter Coaches Luncheon.

Ford Family Director of Athletics, John Mack ’00 welcomed everyone in attendance, and recapped the fall semester to help share how their support provided a transformative student-athlete experience – through both the six conference championships won this fall and the many PVC programs and events that were hosted.

Head coaches Sean Wilkinson (men’s squash), Carla Berube (women’s basketball), Mitch Henderson ’98 (men’s basketball), and Abby Brethauer (women’s swimming & diving) thanked PVC members for their support which allows them to build positive culture and leadership within their programs, and shared what they are most looking forward to as they round out the final stretch of their Ivy League seasons.

Team captains from each sport shared similar sentiments when speaking on the luncheons student-athlete panel. The athletes took turns telling stories of their most defining moments in a Tiger uniform, the touching ways that their coaches and teammates have impacted their lives, and the incredible opportunities that the PVC and Princeton Athletics has provided them in shaping their futures.
