PVC Hosts Fall Youth Sports Clinic

The PVC Youth Sports Clinic returned on Saturday, September 24th as part of Princeton’s Future Tigers Day. After a two-year hiatus, the clinic was once again hosted on Weaver Track ahead of the Princeton football home opener against Lehigh.

Nearly 200 student-athletes representing a variety of Princeton’s varsity teams spent the day teaching children basic skills and techniques of their respective sports. The event featured 15 unique stations, including sports like basketball, lacrosse, golf, soccer, hockey and rowing. Children who attended the clinic enjoyed playing games, face painting and learning new sports with the Tigers.

We encourage you to view a photo gallery from the event, as well as video highlights (including student-athlete interviews) from the clinic.

In addition to the Youth Sports Clinic, Saturday’s Future Tigers Day festivities included a family funfest in the stadium concourse and post-game autographs with Princeton football players during the “Fifth Quarter”.

The PVC would like to extend its thanks to all the student-athletes and Tiger fans that came out and contributed to making this year’s Youth Sports Clinic a success.
