More than 120 Princeton alumni gathered in midtown Manhattan this summer, for a New York City area Athletics Career Networking Event. This program comes as part of the PVC’s efforts to expand Career Development opportunities and help bridge connections among current and former Tiger student-athletes.
Eager to give back, nearly 35 alums attended the event to serve as industry mentors to current student-athletes and other young athletics alumni. Tigers from the Classes of 2022 to 2027 were able to forge relationships with these established alumni spanning different sports and eras, and gain professional advice on navigating their young careers and leveraging the power of Princeton connections.
A number of different career spaces and industries were represented, including finance, marketing, law, technology, healthcare, broadcasting and real estate, just to name a few.

Princeton Athletics would like to extend a sincere thank you to PVC Board Members Jason Mraz ’89 S89 P23 P25 P29, Betsy Hellmann ’93 S92 P27, and Shiv Vasisht ’99 who helped to co-host this impactful event, in addition to all of the athletics alumni who volunteered their time and mentorship in support of Tiger student-athletes.
