PVC Student-Athlete Welcome BBQ Welcomes Classes of 2025 & 2026

The Princeton Varsity Club recently welcomed the newest Tigers of the Class of 2026, as well as its returning sophomores from the Class of 2025 back to campus with its annual Student-Athlete Welcome Barbecue.

Members of the Princeton Athletics community and Athletics Fellows convened on Monday, September 12th to officially welcome the more than 450 student-athletes from both classes to the Princeton Athletics team and introduce them to the many unique programs provided through the Princeton Varsity Club.

This year’s event, featured new PVC t-shirts, a barbecue dinner, lawn games and an ice cream buffet for all guests in attendance. Ford Family Director of Athletics, John Mack ’00 spoke to the incredible academic and competitive opportunities that are ahead for each student-athlete and Associate Director of Athletics for the PVC, Brendan Van Ackeren highlighted the PVC’s mission to provide meaningful programs and experiences for student-athletes during their four years at Princeton.
