PVC Welcome BBQ Celebrates Class of 2027

The Princeton Varsity Club welcomed first-year Tigers from the Class of 2027 to the Princeton Athletics family with its annual Student-Athlete Welcome BBQ.

Nearly 300 student-athlete were joined by head coaches, team captains, and athletics staff to learn more about the PVC and the many resources available to them during their time at Princeton. The event featured a BBQ dinner, team photo station, lawn games, and an ice cream buffet for everyone in attendance.

Ford Family Director of Athletics, John Mack ’00 welcomed the new Tigers with a brief message, encouraging them to take advantage of every opportunity that they can to Achieve, Serve, and Lead on campus. Associate Director of Athletics for the PVC, Brendan Van Ackeren also addressed the crowd, sharing the Princeton Varsity Club’s ongoing mission and its programs designed to enhance their student-athlete experience.
