2024-25 year was another great year for the Princeton Tigers and all made possible through the investment and power of the Princeton Athletics’ community. We are incredibly thankful for the support of our PVC Members this past academic year, and are so grateful for their ongoing commitment to our 1,000 Tiger student-athletes and 38 varsity programs. Your support throughout 2024-25 (including 40 new PVC Lifetime Members) allowed the PVC to continue to grow its annual programming and provide meaningful engagement opportunities for our Princeton Athletics’ community.
This past year was again marked by incredible successes and wide-ranging impact both on and off the field of play. In the past four years, our Tiger teams have have garnered an Ivy League (and possibly Division I) record 66 conference championships, 55 Coach of the Year honors and posted an average finish of No. 27 in the Learfield Directors’ Cup, which measures athletic department postseason success across all 300+ Division I institutions (Princeton’s No. 32 finish in 2024-25 was again the highest of any school outside the Power 4 conferences). The PVC is grateful to play a role in fostering this championship-level student-athlete experience, which is all made possible through the generous support and engagement of our alumni, friends and campus and community partners.
PVC membership provides funding for annual PVC events and programs that benefit all 38 varsity teams and 1,000 student-athletes, including those noted below. It also provides critical financial flexibility to the Department of Athletics.

- Tigers in the Community Program, including Reading with the Tigers, Youth Sports Clinics, Coach for College, Student-Athlete Service Council (SASC), etc.

- Alumni engagement opportunities, receptions and special events on campus and off campus as part of the PVC “On the Road” series
- PVC Weight Room in Jadwin Gym (renovation photos from Spring 2023)
- Jake McCandless ’51 PVC Speaker Series
- Central bonus funds in support of Tiger Athletics Give Day (TAGD), a 24 hour giving day challenge amongst Athletics Friends Groups
- Student-athlete leadership groups like the Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (VSAAC) and Student-Athlete Wellness Leaders (SAWL)
- PVC communications and publications (PVC News and PrincetonVarsityClub.org)
