Thank you for your tremendous support on another record-setting Tiger Athletics Give Day!
Princeton Athletics’ 24-hour online giving competition, Tiger Athletics Give Day (TAGD), was held on Tuesday, November 28th, marking the fourth annual edition of TAGD. More than 8,000 donors participated in the initiative, collectively contributing more than $2.4 million in support of Princeton Athletics, shattering the previous 24-hour giving record of $1.9M in 2016.
Additionally, the Princeton Varsity Club obtained 15 new Lifetime Members as part of TAGD, bringing the total number of PVC Lifetime Members to 230 since the program’s inception in 2010. These Lifetime Membership funds will be used to support a wide range of needs and opportunities for each of the 37 varsity teams and 1,000+ student-athletes, with all members now being recognized on the Lifetime Member donor plaque in the new Andrew J. Conner ’62 Lounge in Jadwin Lobby.
Thank you to the Princeton Varsity Club Board of Directors and Advisory Committee for generously contributing more than $200,000 of Bonus Funds, which were once again used to spur the competition between Princeton’s Athletics Friends Groups in three unique competitions – total number of donors (by bracket), total dollars raised (by bracket) and highest median gift. Top finishers in each bracket received Bonus Funds ranging from $7,500-$15,000, while all AFGs qualifying for the highest median gift received an additional Bonus Fund payout of $2,000. In total, nine Athletics Friends Groups raised over $100,000 on the day (not including any bonus fund payouts), with twelve of the groups exceeding their dollars raised totals from TAGD 2016.

In reaching the TAGD challenge goal of 15 new Lifetime Members, the PVC received a $15,000 bonus, which will further the PVC’s ability to provide programming and opportunities for all student-athletes to achieve, to serve and to lead.
We sincerely appreciate everything you do to support Princeton Athletics, and are excited so many of our alumni were able to “Tiger Up” and make a gift on Tiger Athletics Give Day.
