FAQs

Q. How do I become a member?
A. You can sign up online through a secured online giving tool by clicking here. You can use the contribution card mailed to you to make your gift to the Princeton Varsity Club. To view your membership level, please click here.

Q. How long do I remain a member?
A. Membership is based upon the University fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). PVC members will receive all PVC mailings and invitations for events taking place during that academic year.

Q. If I become a member, what does that mean?
A. Members receive a welcome postcard and the official PVC lapel pin. Members are invited to pre-game receptions, seasonal coaches’ luncheons, receive the PVC News and know that their contributions support programming that enhanced the experience of every Princeton student-athlete.

Q. Who does the PVC support?
A. The PVC supports over 1,000 varsity Princeton student-athletes across 38 varsity sports.  PVC initiatives and programs not only support current varsity student-athletes, but also the broader Princeton Athletics community including alumni and supporters of Princeton Athletics.

Q. If I donate to a Athletics Friends Group, am I automatically a member of the PVC?
A. No, but the PVC encourages all alumni to give to their Athletics Friends Group. PVC funds support broad-based initiatives that benefit all student-athletes. These include providing traditional Princeton letter-sweaters to all graduating varsity student-athletes, Tigers in the Community program (including Weapons of Mass Construction, Reading with the Tigers, Coach for College and the Student-Athlete Service Council), the PVC Student-Athlete Welcome Barbecue, the Gary Walters ’67 PVC Awards Banquet, PVC career programming, PVC Varsity Weight Room in Jadwin Gym, as well as the Jake McCandless ’51 PVC Speaker Series to name a few!
