The Princeton Varsity Club had a very active and engaging fall semester, bringing together Tiger student-athletes and alumni on campus, on the road, and throughout the broader Princeton community.
CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE
We remain incredibly grateful for the support and engagement of so many in the Princeton Athletics community, which allows the PVC to provide championship-level experiences for student-athletes and alumni across all 38 varsity programs. The Tigers celebrated another historic fall for Princeton Athletics, which included six regular season conference champions, three Ivy League Tournament titles, and six NCAA postseason runs – including an appearance in the NCAA Championship game by Princeton field hockey!

PVC PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS
In September, the PVC and Princeton Athletics welcomed first-year Tigers from the Class of 2029 with the PVC Student-Athlete Welcome BBQ. The new Tigers learned about the Princeton Varsity Club and heard first-hand from Ford Family Director of Athletics, John Mack ’00 the opportunities that the PVC provides for student-athletes to connect with the Princeton Athletics community during their four years at Princeton and beyond.
Additionally, Princeton Athletics teamed up with Tiger alumni to host a fall Career Networking event for 300+ student-athletes. More than 50 athletics alumni traveled back to campus to talk to student-athletes about their careers in banking, consulting, public health, communications, marketing, engineering, and business management among other fields.
PVC Members, corporate partners, and campus colleagues, also enjoyed hearing from head coaches and student-athletes at the PVC Fall Coaches Luncheon. The event featured updates from the Princeton football, women’s volleyball, men’s water polo, and women’s cross country programs. Guests were also treated to a panel conversation with four student-athletes, who discussed their favorite Princeton memories and reflected on their journeys to becoming a Tiger.

PVC ON THE ROAD
The PVC celebrated Princeton Homecoming Weekend with its annual Fall Game Day Reception in October. PVC Members and Princeton Athletics supporters enjoyed an Orange & Black tailgate inside the Class of 1956 Lounge while watching the Princeton Football game against Harvard.
Then, in November the PVC and Friends of Princeton Basketball ascended on the University of Kansas and historic Phog Allen Fieldhouse. More than 100 alumni and friends came together for a pre-game reception before cheering on men’s basketball vs. the nationally ranked Jayhawks (photo gallery).
The fun also continued the following day when Princeton fans rallied in College Park, MD to support women’s basketball in their matchup with the No. 9 ranked Maryland Terrapins. Princeton alumni, families, and friends in the Maryland-DC area gathered before the game to show their Tiger spirit and enjoy some tailgate food and drink (photo gallery).
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the road and helped us cheer on the Tigers with their Orange & Black spirit!

TIGERS IN THE COMMUNITY
This fall, the PVC hosted its annual Youth Sports Clinic before the football home-opener, bringing together local community organizations and families for some fun with the Tigers. More than 150 student-athletes, representing 15+ teams volunteered at the clinic, leading a variety of stations and sharing their love for sports with younger children.
Reading with the Tigers also returned, visiting 60 classrooms at five elementary schools. 100+ student-athletes participated in the program, reading their favorite children’s books while answering fun questions from the younger students. Additionally, the Tiger Pals mentorship program returned to Johnson Park Elementary, matching student-athletes with students grades K-5 for monthly visits aimed at helping them become positive role models.
Finally, student-athletes teamed up with the Princeton Best Buddies chapter for their annual Best Buddies Field Day. The event featured games and activities to promote teamwork and camaraderie between athletes of all abilities.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Princeton Varsity Club and helped make each of these programs and experiences possible.
