The Princeton Varsity Club welcomed first-year student-athletes into the Princeton Athletics family with its annual PVC Welcome BBQ. Keeping with tradition, student-athletes from the Class of 2030 were welcomed to campus with an evening of good food, new friendships, and lots of fun.
Ford Family Director of Athletics, John Mack ’00 greeted the Tigers with an opening message and offered his words of encouragement as they embark on their Princeton journeys. Associate Director of Athletics, Brendan Van Ackeren then introduced the new student-athletes to the PVC and the programs that it offers to build community both during their time at Princeton, and beyond. This opening portion of the event spotlighted the many resources available to them as students, in addition to highlighting the incredible alumni community they will join in the years ahead.
The evening also featured a delicious barbecue dinner, PVC t-shirts, and a fun variety of lawn games and mini-golf. Click here to view a full photo gallery from this year’s event.
