Sam Tarter

Sam Tarter ‘21 is a senior on the Varsity Men’s Swimming Team from Gaithersburg, MD. He is an English major and is pursuing a certificate in Entrepreneurship.  Sam is also part of Make Ventures Princeton and serves as the CMO and alumni liaison for Men’s Swim and Dive. In high school he spent a lot of time working at Red Wiggler Farm in Maryland – They employ and help mentally disabled people grow organic crops on their self-sustainable farm.  He also worked a ton at A Wider Circle, which is an organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals and families regain some stability by distributing and organizing free home furnishings and other items.  One reason Sam joined SASC is to potentially help foster a community of inclusion for the many children in New Jersey who have autism; New Jersey actually has the highest autism rate in the country, and he has found some organizations and teams that are addressing this and hopes to do the same.
